Staff & Interns

making an impact in public health

OUR STAFF

The Partnership for Public Health Board of Directors is composed of up to 30 diverse stakeholders reflective of the Lancaster Community. Members are representatives of organizations, business and institutions in the community that have a demonstrated commitment to addressing the health and well-being of Lancaster County. Each board member and representative organization serves on one or more of the issue-specific task forces pushing forward the work and public health agenda of the Partnership.

Zoe Katz– PPH Intern

Zoe is a rising junior at Franklin & Marshall College from Boston, MA. At F&M she studies Public Health and French. Her main focus within the Partnership is lead exposure in Lancaster. Through research and collaboration with community partners, she aims to educate families about the dangers of lead.

Benjamin Roberts– PPH Intern

Benjamin Roberts is a member of the class of 2019 at Franklin & Marshall College. At F&M he is a Public Health major and Religious Studies minor. Benjamin is particularly interested in international health policy and enjoys learning about health initiatives in different parts of the globe. Within the partnership, Benjamin has focused on the growing opioid epidemic in the United States as well as lead exposure in Lancaster County.

Esther Verkouw–PPH Intern

Esther Verkoux is a rising senior at Millersville University. There she is double majoring in Spanish and International Relations and a minoring in linguistics. At the Partnership, Esther has focused on lead exposure and works to translate the Parthership’s resources into Spanish.

Alma Felix–PPH Intern

Alma Felix is a rising senior at Albright College from San Luis, Arizona. At Albright, Alma studies Mathematics and Public Health. Within the Partnership, Alma organizes the PPH social media, as well as translates the Partnership’s resources into Spanish.
