Proposed Lancaster ordinance would require lead-safe certification to rent to families with children under 6

City Council plans to introduce revised legislation targeting Lancaster’s lead-paint problem at its upcoming meeting Tuesday, but though the head of the Lancaster Lead Coalition calls it a sensible step forward, a landlord and neighborhood advocate is warning it might do more harm than good.
